This Kidde 2-story fire escape ladder gives you a ready way out from a second-floor room in an emergency. It needs no tools or assembly, so you can deploy it quickly when time matters. The compact design stores easily under a bed or in a closet near a window. It attaches to most windows and uses zinc-plated steel anti-slip rungs for secure footing as you climb down. Built with steel and nylon, this ladder is made for one-time emergency use and is an important part of a home fire safety plan.
- Extends to 13 ft for use in second-story rooms.
- Tangle-free design attaches to most windows before the ladder is released.
- Zinc-plated steel rungs are 1 in wide and support up to 750 lb on one rung or 1,000 lb when weight is spread across more than one rung.
- Red nylon side rails and flame-resistant rungs add durable construction for emergency descent.
- Place the hooks over the windowsill and pull the release strap to unfurl the ladder.
- Includes a 5-year limited warranty.
