BIC Xtra-Comfort Mechanical Pencils are built for students who spend long stretches writing, whether in a middle school classroom, a college lecture hall, or a late-night study session. The soft grip on each lead pencil provides comfort and control that standard pencils do not offer, reducing hand fatigue during extended note-taking and making these dependable school supplies for middle school and beyond. The 0.7 mm medium point writes smoothly without smudging, and the lead erases cleanly so every assignment looks neat. These mechanical pencils never need sharpening; a click of the built-in eraser advances the lead instantly. Each pencil comes loaded with three No. 2 leads, making one BIC mechanical pencil equal to 2.5 wood case pencils in value.
