Con-Tact Round Borosilicate Glass Container with Opaque Latch 4.0c

The Con-Tact brand Round Borosilicate Glass Container with Opaque Latch Lid marked "-4.0c" refers to the large 4.0-cup capacity variation, which holds exactly 32 fluid ounces (approx. 946 milliliters). This circular shape is excellent for family-sized portions of soup, large salads, pasta dishes, and batch ingredient storage.

• The thermal-resistant round glass base transitions safely from cold storage to high heat. You must fully unlatch and remove the opaque plastic lid before cooking or reheating to prevent the airtight silicone gasket from melting or warping.
• Safe to use directly in the freezer. Always leave roughly a half-inch of headspace when freezing liquids (like stews or stocks) to accommodate natural volume expansion.
• The glass base is completely safe for any dishwasher rack. To maximize the lifespan and seal elasticity of the latching arms, wash the opaque lid on the top rack only or rinse it by hand.
