Pink Muhly Grass brings soft pink to purple plume heads and easy-care texture to your outdoor space. This deciduous ornamental perennial is drought tolerant, grows in clumps, and reaches a mature size of about 3-4 ft high by 2-3 ft wide, giving you a strong accent for garden beds, containers, small hedges, and larger landscape plantings. It is suited for USDA Zones 6-10 and grows in full sun. For planting, dig a hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil with your native soil. Set the top of the root ball 1/2 in above ground level when filling the hole. Cut it back in late winter to make room for new spring growth, divide clumps every three years to help maintain an upright habit, and feed with a slow-release granular fertilizer in spring.
