This Reeves Bridal Wreath Spirea is a live deciduous shrub grown for its graceful spring flower display. Also known as Spiraea cantoniensis, it features cascading, arching branches covered with clusters of delicate double-white blooms and green foliage. The 2.5 qt plant adds soft color and shape to outdoor spaces and works well in foundation plantings, hedges, borders, or mass plantings. It grows outdoors and offers an easy way to bring a classic flowering look to the landscape. For best flowering, plant in a spot with full sun to partial shade and provide weekly watering in moist, well-drained soil.
- Mature size is typically 4 to 6 ft tall and 4 to 6 ft wide for a dense, arching form.
- Recommended for USDA hardiness zones 5 to 9.
- Plant in full sun to partial shade; at least 6 hours of direct sunlight supports strong flowering.
- Prefers moist, well-drained soil and benefits from regular watering, especially during dry spells.
- Prune after flowering to shape the shrub, remove dead or damaged branches, and encourage new growth.
- A balanced slow-release fertilizer in spring can support healthy seasonal growth.
