National Plant Network's grower approved selections take the guesswork out of gardening. Mint Julep is a classic shrub rose admired for its creamy yellow blooms accented with soft greenish edges and its strong repeat flowering habit. Bare root roses arrive dormant and leafless, consisting of a healthy root system and sturdy canes that are ready to establish quickly once planted. Bare root roses are easy to plant, just soak in water for several hours to rehydrate the roots, then plant into well prepared soil with good drainage and plenty of sunlight. After planting, new growth typically begins within a few weeks as temperatures warm, followed by leaf development and vigorous upright growth. As the plant becomes established, Mint Julep produces abundant elegant blooms throughout the growing season, bringing a fresh refined look to the garden.
