Sky-Drift — Riders of the First Horizon (The Sagas of Aurekan Book 1)

Riders of the First Horizon is a dark fantasy LitRPG set in 1142 AC in the wind-swept realm of Aurekan, where the Sky-Drift tribes live in sacred bond with the plains, their ancestors, and the divine Tsénaa’Rath mounts. When holy sites are desecrated and signs of a deeper threat begin spreading across the steppe, a young canyon scout named Tázhiin Ash-Runner is drawn into a turning point far greater than himself. What begins as a story of choosing, kinship, and survival grows into a harsh journey of duty, identity, and rising responsibility in a land where memory, oath, and blood all carry weight. The book blends spiritual world-building, mounted warrior culture, frontier danger, and LitRPG progression into a story about being seen clearly by your people, your gods, and the world itself. At its heart, it is about a young man being forged by burden rather than glory, while Aurekan is forced to remember what it must become to survive. Read more
