"Who Framed Roger Rabbit" is a groundbreaking 1988 American fantasy comedy film that seamlessly blended live-action and animation. Directed by Robert Zemeckis, the film is set in a world where cartoon characters, known as "Toons," coexist with humans in Hollywood. The story follows a private detective who must clear the name of Roger Rabbit, a toon accused of murdering his employer.
This particular figurine depicts Roger Rabbit himself, driving Benny the Cab, a sentient taxi from the film. Produced by Applause in 1987, the year before the film's release, it represents early merchandise tied to the highly anticipated movie. Such figures are popular among collectors of animation memorabilia and fans of the iconic film.
