Zeiss V8 2.8-20x56mm NA, 30mm Tube Rifle Scope, Second Focal Plane, Illuminated Plex 60 Reticle, Black

In celebration of our 175-year anniversary, ZEISS optical designers and engineers have created our most advanced hunting riflescopes in the history of ZEISS: the all-new V8 series. These scopes were engineered and dedicated to provide hunters with unparalleled optical performance to hunt all of the continents. You may need to update your passport. You might need to reapply for your hunting licenses. You might also need to rebook your hunt. But you will never need to update your riflescope for hunting once you experience the all-new ZEISS V8 riflescopes. German design, engineering, manufacturing, and ultimate craftsmanship comes to life in these sophisticated V8 scopes with a highly advantageous 8x zoom ratio. The distinctly innovative optics utilize exotic glass types, from SCHOTT glass, consisting of multiple FL (fluoride) and HT (high-transmission) lens elements. The optical system yields an impressively bright image, with a guaranteed light transmission value of 92%. The exterior lenses are then protected from environmental abuse with ZEISS LotuTec protective lens coatings. An immediate advantage of these designs is the extra-large and extra-friendly eye box that allows for faster target acquisition. The specialized optics are housed in a modern and compact 30 mm main tube design. The opto-mechanical system has been torture tested to endure over 800 cycles of impact testing at 1,000 g-force and final tested to withstand multiple impact cycles at 1,500 g-force. V8 scopes are waterproof to 13 feet for up to two hours further confirming that ZEISS quality standards are achieved. The time-proven ZEISS #60 illuminated reticle is highly favored around the globe due to its ultra-fine center-dot illumination, manufactured using fiber optic technology from the ZEISS medical and technical research laboratory. The digitally controlled, multi-functional illumination system provides the hunter with smarter illumination controls by applying both angle and time sensor auto-off and auto-on functionality. Whatever game you seek, from whichever country you find yourself in, ZEISS V8 scopes will ensure you have the best opportunity to witness the beauty and adventure of it all when it comes time to make that once-in-a-lifetime shot. When your hunting adventures call for the very best riflescope, look no further than ZEISS V8.
